Evening Flight is a small impasto oil. The colors are vivid and the texture is complicated. This is a painting for people that like elevated brushwork and a continual modulation of color. The painting is on stretched canvas and is un-framed.

I married the Bird Man, Clyde Kessler.  He has taught me a lot about Southwest Virginia and, particularly, about birds.  He has studies birds since he was very young and has uploaded over 20,000 wildlife records to Cornell University.  He hopes they will be useful to future generations in their quests to preserve his beautiful mountain home.
