Heron's Cove is a serene, colorful soft pastel painting of a beautiful river scene. The bird pictured is an egret and the reflections and ripples make this a peaceful and gentle landscape.
I married The Bird Man, Clyde Kessler, and I have learned a lot about birds and butterflies from him. His discovery of the endangered Mitchel Satyr in 1998 is considered to be one of the most important wildlife finds in the second half of the twentieth century in Virginia.
Herons Cove is a 30" x 20" soft pastel painting on paper in a white mat.
The painting can be framed by the patron to suit individual taste.
