Looking at the Light is one of my few charcoal drawings that depicts a clothed model. Artists spend many hours drawing nudes to learn anatomy and to celebrate the beauty of the human form. Sometimes we like to dress up the model. I especially like nineteenth century clothing and I think this drawing is a good example of the beautiful flowing motion in this type of costume.
