Riverview at Dusk is an evening view of one of the parks in Radford Va. I especially like the pink and orange colors in the sky that are reflected in the river which is the New River. My husband spends a lot of time studying birds and butterflies at this park. No matter what the weather he is almost always there very early Saturday mornings.
Clyde Kessler is a well-known naturalist in the New River Valley and the source for many of my landscapes. I have learned a lot from him as well as countless others he has lead on nature hikes in this beautiful region of Virginia. His discovery of the endangered Mitchel Satyr butterfly in 1998 is considered to be one of the most important wildlife finds in the second half of the twentieth century in Virginia.
