Rushing Water is an energetic look at a tree that hangs over the New River at Bisset Park in Radford. The water is rushing so fast that the reflection is blurred. I have spent many hours walking by this scene with my husband and son as we walk the trail. It is always a different experience. I notice something new every time we pass by. This painting is colorful and has a sensuous surface and delicate brushwork. I am especially proud of how the blues in the river sparkle through the limbs of the tree.
Rushing Water is a 20" x 16" impasto oil painting on canvas panel in a solid wood molded frame.
The painting can easily be taken out of the frame if professional framing is desired.
