Shark Energy is the second in my Kendall Expressions Ocean series. In this one I used strong vibrant color contrasts in swirling water to project power and force.
Sharks are essential to our world and I am concerned that many people are not aware of this fact. I greatly admire biologist and film maker, Rob Stewart and his efforts to protect sharks and call attention to their plight. If you haven't seen Shark Water, be sure to put that excellent DVD on your list to watch. He also produced Revolution. Both DVDs are not to be missed!
My husband, Clyde Kessler, is a well-known naturalist in the New River Valley and he works hard to educate the public about our beautiful world and how we need to take steps to protect it. He has led countless nature hikes and keeps wildlife records that he is now uploading to Cornell University. He has over 2000 files of bird sightings that he hopes will be of use in pin-pointing environmental problems.
Shark Energy
Shark Energy is a 20" x 16" acrylic painting on canvas panel in a solid wood molded frame.
The painting can easily be taken out of the frame if professional framing is desired.
