The Rose is from my Dreamscape series.  For many years I have had dreams of paintings I have never seen before. In my dreams these paintings were done by me. When I wake up I can see between five to seven paintings and then minutes later I can only see one or two. I am assuming that because I live to paint I also dream to paint.  I have put a number of these paintings on canvas.  The difference between these paintings and my other work is an unstable flow that creates a world that is surreal. These paintings often have a lot of blue and not a lot of contrast.  It is another world!

The Rose is a feast of dreamy textures and flowing color!
