Always fun to start a new painting and then it gets hard. As always I have an idea of what I want that is based on something I see but oftentimes my idea takes a U-turn back to another past approach and then I get it back on track. I like to learn but it can be taxing at times. Hopefully starting today on a small painting so I will be in practice for a large one. I am really tired of going backwards in a large one and then having to use huge amounts of paint to move forward. Oh well. I really do love to paint.
