Perspective is Amazing

I am duplicating an original painting that I talked about yesterday.

The painting is 40" x 25". I had a board cut that size and it is on my easel.

I would swear the painting I am working from is bigger than my board. I even got out the measuring tape and measured it. They are the same size.

Perspective can really fool you.
