I really do live to paint and my latest floral has me baffled. As always it took a lot of turns and started talking to me when I thought it was coming along.
Changed direction and finished it. They are never exactly what I want but this one is standing out for reasons I don't really understand.
Yes, it has a complex surface with constantly modulating color. Yes, it has emotion that is a result of how I painted it.
Can't put my finger on why this one is so different. Art is a mystery.
