Wow! Never saw that before.

I have lived with a dedicated naturalist for many decades but I have never seen a hawk slam into the window to catch a blue jay until this morning.

After the big thud there were feathers streaming from the sky onto our front yard.

Clyde said hawks have figured out how to slam small birds into windows to capture them.

Yikes! Hope they don't break a window. Sorry for the blue jay.
