Maybe that's why they mourn

I was looking at a bunch of small birds on our veranda. There was one plump looking mourning dove on the rail.

I said to Clyde that maybe the reason mourning doves mourn is because they are fat.

Again, my naturalist husband that has been studying wildlife since he was a kid was not amused.

Ignorance is definitely not bliss in this house. LOL!
